Measures 4". Badge from the 26th National Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic. Very scarce badge which was worn by members of the Commander In Chiefs Escort. John Palmer, CNC of the GAR pictured on drop. Reverse blank but apparently the owner of the badge scratched the following "Banker, Albany post #601"(see scan). Ribbon split but holds nicely. A hard to find piece from the 1892 reunion!
