8 x 10 - Approx. 60 pages - First page is inked - This scrapbook book of the National Encampment G.A.R. held at Indianapolis, Indiana, Sept. 25th to 30th 1921. Is the property of Walter F. Hinkley member of Wadham Post No.49 Dept. Of Conn. GAR and contains clippings from the Indianapolis Star, National Tribune and Plainville news. Photo of Hinkley seen on inner cover and another found among the pages. Some of the articles have notations. His train tickets are pasted in the book as well. The last few pages are local news (Waterbury, Conn.) Hinkley served with the 26th NY Cavalry.
