10" X 14" ~ 2-PAGES WITH 4 PAGES WITH ONLY ONE BEING UNUSED ~ THE PAGES HAVE BEEN SEWN TOGETHER

WHEN SEARCHING FOR THIS PIECE I FOUND WHERE LEE'S SURRENDER WAS ENTERED ACCORDING TO AN ACT OF CONGRESS IN 1867 BY MRS. J.P. HAWKINS IN TH EASTERN DISTRICT OF MISSOURI.
WHEN YOU COMPARE THE TWO YOU WILL FIND THAT SOME OF THE WORDS HAVE BEEN CHANGED BEFORE BEING PUBLISHED. IN SOME CASES JUST A WORD OR TWO AND IN OTHERS A WHOLE LINE OR TWO.

IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THIS IS ONE OF HER FIRST DRAFTS THAT WAS LATER SLIGHTLY CHANGED UPON BEING PUBLISHED. I DO NOT SEE ANY INITIALS ANYWHERE OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT WOULD IDENTIFY THE COMPOSER HOWEVER.
